Classic cars take over City Park and there's a Riot (Atari Teenage) at Student Central

Enjoy the sunshine in Bradford this August, before back to school and Freshers' Week madness in September!

Seeing kids and adults alike frolick in the fountains at City Park is an everyday occurrence in Bradford at the moment - as is the sight of adults staring at their phones trying to catch Pokemon.

But for one day this month City Park will be overrun with cars. Thankfully they will be pretty ones. The Bradford Classic Car Show takes place on Saturday 13 August from 10:00-16:00. To see a sneak preview of some of the cars on show, head over to the Bradford Classic Facebook group.

Take a peek

Many of us walk past City Hall every day, towering over City Park, but have you ever been inside? Now's your chance. Free 'Sneaky Peeks' tours are being held throughout August on Wednesdays 14:00-16:00 and Thursdays 13:00-15:00.

You'll get to see inside the Lord Mayor's office, the Council Chambers and also see a collection of objects from the Bradford Museums and Galleries collection.

Riot at the Students' Union

A three-day electronic music festival takes place here on campus over the Bank Holiday weekend, 26-28 August. Infest 2016 features acts including Atari Teenage Riot, Pop Will Eat Itself and Monica Jeffries, among others. Book your tickets now.

And lots more...
