Being a Module Leader

Prerequisite: None.

Aims: Target audience: Essential for staff who are, or are about to be, in a module leader role.

Module leaders play a key role in improving NSS scores/league table standings, enhancing the learner experience and successfully implementing the curriculum framework.

This session aims to:
- set the context of learning, teaching and assessment at Bradford and consider the institutional imperative to enhance the learner experience and improve student attainment;
- identify the University's expectations of the module leader role and relate these to the curriculum framework, the UK Quality Code and UK Professional Standards Framework for learning and teaching;
- consider development/support needs and opportunities.
