Chemistry

We still have places available on our Chemistry degree courses starting in September 2019.

Bradford welcomes enthusiastic chemists with an ambition to develop their skills using imaginative solutions.

While year one students on all of our pathways learn the fundamental elements of chemistry, pathways begin to diverge and specialise in the subsequent years and provide students with specific training for major employment sectors including medicinal, materials and analytical chemistry sub-disciplines.

Choose one of our Chemistry degrees and you will study the key fundamentals of chemistry, before taking the opportunity to specialise in the major sectors of the modern chemical industry.

Our facilities

Our courses aim to get students into the labs as early as possible, because we believe that the combination of well delivered lectures and hands on practical reinforcement is the best way to develop emerging talent.

We supplement these two teaching elements with small group tutorials and innovative teaching techniques to ensure students get as much out of their time here as possible.
