Annual Alumni Update 2022

It has been a busy past twelve months for the University and our Alumni and Development activities. Our annual update shares some highlights of our key achievements over the last year and some of the things to look out for in 2022.

The Alumni Team have created a series of videos for you which includes a personal message from our Vice-Chancellor, Professor Shirley Congdon, on her plans for the University, an interview with Richard Shaw, Bid Director of Bradford 2025, on our City of Culture partnership, and a personal and intimate conversation with alumnus Dr Murthy Renduchintala, whose generous donation is enabling us to create the exciting and innovative Bradford-Renduchintala Centre for Space AI.

Our Associate Director, Eleanor Clyde-Evans and Bradford 2025 Bid Director, Richard Shaw, are interviewed by Numan Arain, second year School of Management student about the ambitious plans for the City, how the University is contributing, and how alumni can get involved.

A conversation with Dr Venkata ‘Murthy’ Renduchintala

Dr Fun Hu, Professor of Wireless Communications talks with notable alumnus and donor Dr Venkata ‘Murthy’ Renduchintala about his early experiences of Bradford, his fondness for the Yorkshire countryside and why he decided to make a multi-million pound donation to kick-start a new Centre for Space AI - the Bradford-Renduchintala Centre for Space AI. Murthy also shares his insights into the exciting future for Space AI and how the University of Bradford stands to benefit.
