Louise delivers our workshop programme for undergraduate and postgraduate taught students.
The workshops provide advice and teach techniques on a variety of academic and study skills topics from writing in an academic style to exam revision strategies and everything in between.

Louise studied English Literature with English Language at the University of Salford before taking a PGCE (FE/HE/Adult) at Bolton University. In 2015, she obtained an MEd and is currently undertaking an EdD, focusing on the drivers, motivations and expectations of EdD students, at UCLan. She also has a BTec L4 in Widening Participation and professional qualifications in Project Managaement.
Louise worked for many years in tele-sales progressing to Sales Manager before becoming a mature student. She continued to work in sales during her studies before obtaining the new post of Widening Participation Officer at an HE in FE College. Over the next few years, she held two posts as Advisor and Co-ordinator on the government initiaitive 'Work Programme' with a stint at a FE college as a Learning Participation Officer in between.
