Widen access
Significantly widen access to lifelong learners to fulfil our mission and improve financial sustainability.
Goals
We will be a leading global university projecting our current high-quality education offer to many more people around
the world.
We will deliver:
- High quality online educational programmes, attracting 10,000 additional students by 2035.
- Mixed modality learning to help those students who want on-campus experience and online learning opportunities.
- A learning climate that provides a consistently high-quality student experience across all modalities of learning, which leads to strong employment outcomes.
We will establish effective and productive partnership models to achieve our ability to grow.
How we will achieve these goals
Establish The University of Bradford Learning Enterprise that will lead:
- The creation and implementation of a road map for the introduction of online programmes through University of Bradford Online.
- Short courses, micro-credentialing, apprenticeships and contract training.
- Partner with organisations that can support our ambitions and increase the pace of transformation.
- Using technology creatively and collaboratively to empower student learning, engagement, and belonging.
- Programmes will be informed by industry, practice and research.
