Bradford 2025 will be a game changer for Bradford, breathing new life into the city and injecting a huge boost of confidence to our strong and diverse cultural sector.
Supporting and contributing to the cultural sector in Bradford is already a key priority for the University. On Campus, Theatre in the Mill hosts a diverse schedule of events and activities throughout the year and is also the lead partner on the Bradford Producing Hub. Across the University, we have a wealth of experience and expertise which we are keen to utilise in our role as a key partner to the Bradford 2025 Bid.
The University’s vision is a world of inclusion and equality of opportunity for all. The partnership between the University and Bradford 2025 is a fantastic example of how we can achieve this vision, engaging our communities and creating opportunities for the people that live here.
The University of Bradford is playing a key role in the 2025 City of Culture bid, supporting the team to grow and enhance the cultural sector, the regional economy, and to build on the city’s strong entrepreneurial spirit. The University will share its expertise and use its convening power to bring organisations together.Shirley Congdon, University of Bradford Vice Chancellor
