Bright Building and Pemberton

Completed in 2015, the Bright Building is one of the newest additions on campus. Designed with sustainability at its core, it ranks among the top 1% of UK buildings for environmental performance and has achieved a BREEAM ‘Outstanding’ rating.

As part of the edible campus initiative, there is a herb garden between the Bright Building and Pemberton which everyone is encouraged to use.

Bradford-Renduchintala Enterprise Ecosystem (BREE)

Launched in 2024, BREE is putting the University at the forefront of innovation and entrepreneurship. By bringing together academic expertise, world-class facilities and support from experienced business leaders, BREE is open to staff, students and the local community to help turn their business ideas into reality.

Lady Hale Court

Opened in 2020 by renowned judge and Honorary Graduate Lady Brenda Hale, the mock court gives students hands-on experience of a courtroom environment. Together with our Law Clinic, where students provide legal  advice to the public, it supports practical learning through mooting sessions and simulated hearings.
