Crime Scene House - allows students to practise search and recovery of evidence. It features a Briefing Room, Exhibits Store, Equipment Stores, rooms which can replicate various domestic scenarios to simulate crimes.
Outside Broadcasting (OB) Truck was launched in July 2012 following a £1m investment, and is equipped with five cameras, a dedicated edit and motion capture suite and a commentary booth and has an integrated television studio and allows students to put their media skills into practice on industry-standard equipment.
There’s also a working Eye Clinic open to the public which is run by experienced Optometrists, Dispensing Opticians and Orthoptists with help from students themselves.

Interactive e-learning - all of our teaching is supported by a suite of e-learning tools, offering you increased flexibility and around-the-clock access to your studies.
Libraries - our main library, the J B Priestley Library, at the heart of the City Campus, offers a full range of self-service facilities including book issue, renewal and return. There’s also a dedicated subject library at the School of Management.
