Biography

Zied Mnasri received his PhD thesis in 2011 at the University of Tunis El Manar, Tunisia, when he was appointed as an assistant professor at the National School of Engineering in Tunis. Since then, he has had a series of international collaborations, as a visiting researcher in France, at LORIA-INRIA, Nancy, from 2015 to 2018 and La Rochelle University in 2023, and in Italy, as adjunct professor at the University of Genoa, between 2018 and 2021, and assistant professor at the University of Naples “L'Orientale” between 2022 and 2024. He joined the University of Bradford in March 2024 as Assistant Professor in Computer Science, and from September 2024, he has been module leader for “Artificial Intelligence". 

As part of these teaching and research activities, Zied has supervised several doctoral, master's and graduate students and had more than 50 publications. He is currently guest associate editor of the journal “Frontiers in Digital Health” and has been a member of the technical program committee, co-organizer of special sessions and guest speaker at several conferences and events. He is also a member of IEEE and EURASIP (European Association for Signal Processing).
