Wayne Gardner

Biography

Wayne Gardner is a lecturer on the Master of Physician Associate Studies programme and a practicing Physician Associate in Emergency Medicine.  He has worked within the healthcare sector since 2000 after completing a MSc (Hon) in Medical Electronics from the University of Hertfordshire and an MSc in Medical Physics from the University of Leeds.  Initially working in the field of medical physics as an HCPC registered Clinical Scientist, Chartered Scientist and member of the Institute of Physics and Engineering in Medicine, a desire for a more clinical and patient centred role was the rationale behind a move to re-train and begin a career as a PA.  PA training was undertaken on the University of Wolverhampton Physician Associate program.
