For Mature Students

Although a proportion of our students are aged under 21, the vast majority are over 21. So if you're worried you're going to be the 'older/mature' student, think again - there is an increasing trend for people over 21 choosing to invest in joining a higher education course. • 59% of our students are aged between 21 and 80 (compared to 43% for the University)
• 41% are aged under 21 (compared to 57% for the University)

By Socio -Economic background

• 59% of our students come from lower socio-economic groups
• 41% of our students come from the higher socio-economic groups

By Ethnicity

• 57% are from minority ethnic groups
• 43% are from white backgrounds

By Gender

• 62% of our students are female
• 38% of our students are male

By Disability

• 9% of our students have disabilities

By Nationality

• 19% of our students are international students
• 6% are from the EU
• 75% are from the UK
