This vibrant area of research concentrates on the way that policy and practice interact with the public in relation to water management in the UK. The research is part of the Bradford Water Group, and, in an alliance with University of Sheffield, the Pennine Water Group
Research in this area is primarily focused on understanding the role of different factors, and in particular human activity, in modifying vegetation composition, and identifying interventions, from local site management to national air quality management, to protect and enhance biodiversity.
