Pharmacy Practice Portfolio 2

Module code: PHA7098-Z

The module continues the development, and assessment, of your ability to meet the minimum required standards of competence (outcomes) set out in the RPS Post-Registration Foundation Pharmacist Curriculum and the learning outcomes specified in the Pharmacy Practice programme. Many healthcare employers are stipulating the need for 'Prescribers' in their job descriptions and whether you are motivated by career progression, a change in sector or portfolio career, this Post-Registration curriculum provides an excellent grounding for pharmacists who, throughout their career, may achieve further progression to advanced and/or consultant pharmacist. The RPS curriculum is broken down into FIVE main domains: * Person-centred care and collaboration * Professional practice * Leadership and management * Education * Research There is alignment throughout the RPS Post-Registration Curriculum which closely mirrors the four pillars of advanced practice; clinical leadership and management, education and research. Completion of your portfolio of learning creates a longitudinal approach which is sustained over the 1st year of the Pharmacy Practice programme and continued here in year 2. In undertaking this module you will be continuing to build on your portfolio of evidence to meet the required standards and outcomes as presented in the RPS Post-Registration Foundation Pharmacist Curriculum. You will continue to build on your evidence to support your competency against the RPS Post-Registration Curriculum demonstrating how you meet the outcomes by the end of the year.
