This module aims to support pharmacists to develop and apply the skills to undertake independent prescribing in practice. TBL facilitates this by ensuring students have a strong peer support network throughout the programme. Areas of focus include: the professional skills and knowledge required to prescribe; providing person-centred care; professionalism; governance and collaborating effectively with others including the multidisciplinary team, services users and their carers.
