To enhance students' knowledge of gross anatomy, building upon the foundational framework in systems physiology and anatomy to correlate structure with function in the human body.To examine and discuss the mechanisms of pathophysiology and the development of disease in the structures and systems studied, with a focus on current public health issues where appropriate.To critically review and analyse recent research findings in relevant anatomy and pathology, including treatments where appropriate.
