Hannah visited Italy, Spain and France to undertake fieldwork around the examination of fish bones from the Upper Palaeolithic period, in order to find out about human diet and lifestyle during this period.

Jo Ashby has been working with the probation service, examining the behaviour and experiences of offenders who have agreed to participate in a treatment programme for alcohol misuse as part of their Court sentence.
