Course Introduction

The programme has been designed to offer employees of businesses, industries and organisations a progression suite of postgraduate work-based learning (WBL) programmes which will provide an appropriate coherent learning framework for developing advanced specialist and professional skills.

This suite will also offer you the opportunity to achieve the Accreditation of Prior Learning (APL) and Prior Experiential Learning (AP(E)L) as well as offering options for Advanced Standing (AS) entry onto the suite of programmes.

The progressive philosophical perspectives which underpin the rationale for the suite include engaging in a flexible and spontaneous way with you and your employer. The WBL programmes are viewed as a partnership focus to promote and enable negotiated outcomes which are beneficial to you and your organisation, and will be combined with clear and specific outcomes from the programme.
