Our Continuing Professional Development (CPD) Framework provides applicants working in a variety of roles across a range of health, social care, statutory and independent or charitable sector organisations, the opportunity to undertake work related study.
We offer full courses and individual modules, at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels.
Our CPD Framework has been designed to increase study options available to students, and to increase flexibility, enabling students to undertake a named award which meets their work or educational requirements.
This can be achieved by studying individual modules from across the School module catalogue.
You can choose modules by searching under the care pathway themes shown below:
More information on the structure of the CPD Framework and details of individual modules can be found at http://www.brad.ac.uk/health/cpd/
If you don’t want to commit to a full award you can come and try a single module, build modules to gain a Certificate,
BSc, Postgraduate Certificate, Postgraduate Diploma or an MSc.
If you wish to apply for a full course, you should apply online.
Links to module application forms can be found on the individual module pages of the School of Health Studies website.
Students applying to the School of Health Studies, may be eligible to have some of their courses, programmes and modules funded under the Yorkshire and Humber Strategic Health Authority education contract. However, not all courses, programmes and modules are funded by the contract. Where funding is available, places will be allocated on a first come first served basis.
More information on CPD funding can be found at: http://www.brad.ac.uk/health/InformationforApplicants/StudentFinance/ObtainingCPDFunding/
International students are also welcomed on to some of our courses. However, some of our courses require students to be registered with an appropriate professional body in the UK, and to be practicing clinically when studying certain modules. It is therefore advisable to discuss course options with the recruitment and course teams before applying.
For further information about individual modules please visit our website www.bradford.ac.uk/health or call 01274 236367 to talk to a member of the Course Recruitment Team. Email: soh-recruitment@bradford.ac.uk
