Course Introduction

Our revised and flexible distance-learning MSc in Clinical Pharmacy (Community) supports government initiatives for community pharmacy. It will provide you with the skills and confidence to fully develop your potential by providing support for personal development planning as well as now offering the option of a management module.  The course content is then consolidated by a new module on Commissioning and Negotiating.

For students who do not wish to register for a Diploma but have an interest in studying a particular topic, individual modules may be accessed by registering as an Associate Student. If you require further details about this option, please contact the Course Secretary.

The course is relevant to:

  • Community Pharmacists (locums, employees or managers)
  • Teacher Practitioners
  • Primary Care Pharmacists
  • Newly Qualified Pharmacists

  • The course is distance learning with attendance on only one day (a Sunday) at the start of the course
  • You choose the order in which to study the modules
  • You study at your own pace e.g. 2 - 4 years to complete the diploma

Entry Requirements

To apply for this course you need to:

  • be working in the UK
  • be registered with the GPhC
  • have access to patients
  • have access to the internet

Level of English Required

IELTS at 6.0 or the equivalent.
