Alumni Acheivements
The following are just a few examples of the work in which Bradford’s Department of Peace Studies graduates are involved:
- Dr. Sa’eb Erakat was the Deputy Head of the Palestinian Delegation at the Middle East Peace negotiations and continues to be closely involved in the Middle East Peace Process.
- Graham Goldsworthy, a former British Army officer, now works on land mine clearance in Central America
- Abdl Saad lectures at the Institute for Diplomacy and Foreign Affairs in Malaysia
- Slatan Millsic works for the World Food Programme in Rwanda
- Larry Speight is a rural development worker in Cambodia
- Miguel de Brito works on the UNRISC War-Torn Societies Project in Mozambique
- Dr. David Kikaya is a diplomat in the Kenya Ministry of Foreign Affairs
- Yuka Hasegawa works for the UN High Commission for Refugees
- Diane Hendrick works with the European University Peace Studies Center in Austria.
