Green Accolade for Ecoversity
The University of Bradford has been acclaimed as the leading 'Green' University at a national Awards Ceremony.
Seven years ago today, Russian Security Forces employed a secret incapacitating chemical weapon in their attempt to free 800 hostages held in a Moscow theatre by armed Chechen fighters. Over 120 hostages were killed by the incapacitant and many more continue to suffer long term health problems. Despite reports of further Russian research and use of incapacitants, the international community has refused to address the dangers of the development and proliferation of such weapons.

Partnership to meet Millennium Development
The University of Bradford will begin a three year partnership with The Royal University of Phnom Penh (RUPP) and the Non-Governmental Organisation (NGO) Friends International in Cambodia this month. The partnership is funded by the British Council under the Development Partnerships in Higher Education (DeLPHE) scheme, which seeks to develop higher education partnerships between the UK and those in developing countries. The scheme can help to build new capacities for poverty reduction in accordance with the objectives of the United Nations Millennium Development Goals.

Innovative designs for 21st century business education
Work on the new £12 million MBA facility and resource centre for Bradford University School of Management is due for completion in January 2010. The new site includes a circular high tech MBA debating chamber based on the Harvard Business School model and a flexible learning resource centre that includes advanced library and database provision.
