The Bradford MBA

The Bradford MBA has been ranked Number 1 in the world for salary increase (percentage) and Number 2 in the world for value for money (Financial Times Online MBA rankings, 2016). We are the only institution in Yorkshire approved by the NHS Leadership Academy to deliver our programme to NHS staff wishing to pursue an MBA.

Flexible MBA study options

You can choose to study The Bradford MBA on campus, in Dubai, or by distance learning anywhere in the world.

If you need to combine your study with work or home commitments, you could extend your studies over two to six years with our part-time or distance-learning MBA.

Distance Learning MBA

FT and CEO Logo The Bradford Distance Learning MBA is ranked by the Financial Times as one of the world's best online MBA programmes (World top 10 over last three years) and rated No.1 in the world for increasing graduates' salaries.
The programme is aimed at intelligent, highly motivated managers who wish to equip themselves with the essential business and management skills required in the increasingly competitive, diverse and dynamic business environment.

As with all our MBAs, we offer students the flexibility to switch between modes of study. Distance learning students can choose to take certain modules alongside Full-time and Executive Part-time students in Bradford or at one of our partner institutions across our global campus. There is also flexibility in terms of how intensively you study. We advise that you study two modules every three months, tackling one unit per week – approximately 14-16 hours of study. However, if you are restricted on time, you can choose to just study one module at a time or even suspend your studies all together and restart at a later date.

While distance learning allows you to study at a time, place and pace to suit your needs we ensure that you will never feel like you are studying alone. Distance Learning MBA students have access to our Virtual Learning Environment and are provided with a variety of materials from textbooks and academic journal papers through to video clips and podcasts for each module. You are also expected to contribute to online discussion forums and tutorials with your tutor group and can network with staff and students our online social networking site - The Atrium

Although studying largely independently, Distance Learning MBA students get all the benefits of being at a leading international business school and gaining a globally recognised qualification. You will also get access to all of our learning, careers and support services as well as our online library and academic expertise.

Full Time MBA

Please note: this course will not be running in September 2017. We welcome applications for September 2018.

The Bradford Full-time MBA is ranked in the top 40 in Europe and top 20 in the UK by the Financial Times and is also ranked highly for graduate salary increases and affordability.

Our 12-month business management programme is designed for ambitious managers who are able to take time out of their career to focus and immerse themselves in their studies as part of this life-changing journey. Students are driven, committed and seeking to make a transformational change in their career, and develop the skills and competencies to manage at the highest level in business. You’ll study with like-minded peers from a diverse range of countries, cultures and industry backgrounds, based at one of the UK’s leading business schools.

It is based at our Bradford campus with the option of taking modules in other locations across our global campus.

Executive MBA in the UK

The Bradford part-time Executive MBA is designed for those who are working full time and will either be funded or supported by their employer, or able to study block modules in their free time and vacations.

Our Executive MBA, which typically takes between two and three years to complete, is available in Bradford (commutable from various European cities), Dubai and Hong Kong for locally-based professionals.

As with all our MBAs, we offer students the flexibility to switch between modes of study, such as distance learning, during the programme. Executive MBA students also have the option to study some modules in different locations across our global campus. For example, you may choose to study in Bradford and take advantage of choosing one or more block modules with a partner institution in France or Spain.

Whichever main location you choose to study your Executive MBA from, you will get all the benefits of studying at a leading international business school and gaining a globally recognised qualification. Our supportive learning environment is consistent across our global campus and our experts are flown in for teaching on all our programmes.

Executive MBA in Dubai

Our Executive MBA in Dubai is one of the first and most highly regarded in the UAE; it has fast-tracked the careers of many of the region’s leading business professionals.

The programme is aimed at ambitious managers who want to study part-time while they work and is delivered on weekend sessions every 4-6 weeks, supported by distance learning. The course is delivered in the first-class educational facilities of Dubai Knowledge Village and taught by our international fly-in faculty.

Our ‘long weekend’ teaching format provides you with a period of concentrated study that has minimal impact on your career and family life. If you are unable to make a weekend you can study the module online, anywhere in the world.

From day one you’ll be able to apply new knowledge and skills in your workplace. You'll develop a broad foundation of knowledge in core modules, and focus your studies around a particular sector or discipline in elective modules.

The final Management Project enables you to apply all you’ve learnt to a relevant management issue within your organisation.
