Course overview
Employment is one of the most important activities people engage in. The job a person holds affects his or her income, social life, lifestyle and may even affect how long the person lives. The degree in Human Resource Management offers you the opportunity to develop a systematic and in-depth knowledge of work, employment and HRM.
After following a broad introduction to business and management in the first year, you take a number of core specialist modules, plus options you select from a menu of more than 50, in your second and final years.
You can transfer into or out of the Human Resource Management degree
at the end of the first year, from or to the Business and Management
Studies, Accounting and Finance, Marketing, or International Business
and Management degree, if your preferences change, subject to satisfactory performance.

For entry in 2012/13, minimum requirements will be:
320 points (three-year programme)
320 points (four-year programme)
GCSE (or equivalent) English Language and Mathematics are also required at a minimum of grade C
