The MSc European and International Business Management is suited to

Students who are competent in at least two of the three languages used in the course - Spanish, French and English - and who wish to develop a truly international perspective on management, by sharing the experience of living and studying in three different European countries with the same group of people.

We offer the MSc European and International Business Management as part of our partnership with the Universidad de Deusto Comercial, Bilbao and AUDENCIA, Nantes, Ecole de Management in France. The course takes place in three countries, in three prestigious European institutions, and is taught in three languages: Spanish, French and English.

You spend your first term in Spain or France, your second in France or Spain, and your third at the School of Management. The course includes some language tuition, but you must be competent it at least two of the three languages used. You spend the final 12 weeks of the course on work placement, writing a report or completing a School of Management dissertation.

The MSc European and International Business Management can result in two different qualifications. By completing the course successfully, and undertaking the work placement and related project work, you earn an MBA from Deusto and AUDENCIA and a University of Bradford Postgraduate Diploma. If you undertake the MSc dissertation and complete the course successfully, you gain a joint award of European MSc in Management and Administration. The Masters awarded is officially recognised by the Ministerio de Educación in Spain.

The four-stage programme

Stage 1 - Bilbao/Nantes
Taught modules on the foundations of business and management

Stage 2 - Nantes/Bilbao
Taught modules on European management

Stage 3 - Bradford
You select three from a range of electives

Stage 4
You can:

  • undertake a work placement, most often in a country whose language is not your first, and then write a report on the work placement, supervised by academics in Nantes or Bilbao or
  • elect to complete a Bradford MSc dissertation supervised by academics in Bradford

Entry requirements for the MSc European and International Business Management

You must have a first degree, not necessarily in business and management, from an approved university. The usual entry requirement for the course is: UK degree minimum 2:2 (Honours); international degree grade point average (GPA) of a minimum of 2.5 out of 4.0 or 6.5 out of 10, or overall average of 70%.

You must be competent in two of the three languages in which the course is delivered - English, Spanish and French.

Professional experience is not a requirement of the programme, but it is considered to be an advantage.
