MSc International Business and Management

Overview

The MSc in International Business and Management is designed for students who wish to gain the knowledge and research skills that will help them to thrive in an increasingly dynamic global business environment. The course offers a number of students the opportunity to study abroad at one of our collaborative institutions overseas.

+Course details

Initially, students take a number of compulsory modules to provide the foundations for an understanding of general management and business disciplines. In the second semester, study will focus on international & strategic perspectives, including six compulsory subjects and the opportunity yo choose one elective subject from a range of over 20. At this stage a small number of students have the opportunity to study abroad at one of our partner business schools overseas. The final part of the programmes is the dissertation looking at a specific international business topic.

The Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) accredit this programme. This means that, by successfully completing your degree, you are eligible for exemptions from the ACCA professional examinations - a major advantage on your journey to qualifying as a professional accountant, should you wish to.

+The Trading Room

The Trading Room

The Bradford Trading Room provides students with hands-on experience in a simulated trading environment, giving a feel for “real” investment decisions made in industry and how to deal responsibly with financial and economic market data.

The Bradford Trading Room

Students have the option of completing a training and certification module specifically designed for universities called Bloomberg Essentials Training (BESS) that is widely recognised in industry and confers valuable skills which are highly relevant for the finance, banking, insurance and related industries.
