Fees and funding
Postgraduate education requires a substantial investment from the student in terms of academic effort and financial resources. Before beginning your studies with us, you should ensure that you have sufficient financial resources to meet your commitments in terms of tuition fees, study materials and living expenses for the duration of your course. Responsibility for arranging and securing sufficient funds must lie with the student.
Discounted UG tuition fees for non EU students, AY11/12
1. Fee discounts will be awarded to individuals who are determined as eligible for overseas fee (ie non EU), on the basis of academic merit, to candidates whose level of attainment on completion of their secondary education (whether in the UK or overseas) is outstanding ie broadly equivalent to the top performing 15% of A2-level students in the UK. The School of Management (SoM) does not envisage that there will be a competition for these awards, ie it is expected that the SoM will fund discounts for all those who apply and are eligible.
2. The SoM proposes to award discounts of between £1000 and £2000 to suitably qualified applicants, whether they have applied in the regular UCAS cycle or have applied through Clearing. Applicants already in receipt of our offers for entry in AY11/12 will be individually notified of the scheme.
3. Candidates are invited to put themselves forward for the discount, and discounts will be awarded as an adjunct to the normal procedures of Confirmation (in the case of UCAS applicants from the regular cycle) or Acceptance (in the case of Clearing applicants).
4. Discounts will only be awarded to new overseas fees entrants to full-time
programmes within the SoM.
Further fee discounts may be awarded to each of these entrants in subsequent
years of their full-time UG studies at the SoM, subject to continued strong
academic performance of the recipients.

MBA scholarships
The School of Management offers funding support to suitable candidates. Application for funding support is made in addition to the application for admission, as soon as an offer of admission has been made by us and accepted by the applicant.
Applications for funding should justify funding support by reference to the professional and academic credentials of applicants and the expected benefits of the MBA to them and/or their sponsoring organisation and/or their society of origin, and the likely benefit to the student cohort of the applicant's participation, in a statement that is between 1200 and 1500 words in length. No other supporting documents are required.
Funding awards are made on the merit of each case. The School of Management retains absolute discretion regarding the amount and number of funding awards. A copy of the detailed rules of the scheme can be provided, on request.
University scholarships
Each year, the University awards a small number of scholarships to self-funded international students who, in their applications for postgraduate study, demonstrate outstanding academic merit. Appropriate recipients are identified within the University from amongst all eligible applicants, which procedure is administered by the University's International Office. Details of these may be viewed at http://www.bradford.ac.uk/external/geninfo/intfees.php and all enquiries about these scholarships should be sent to the International Office at international-office@bradford.ac.uk
