Academic English for Business and Management
A six-week course runs from Monday 30 July to Friday 7 September 2012
Overview
Academic English for Business and Management is a six-week English-language and study-skills programme, designed for international students who plan to study for a master's degree (MSc, MA or MBA) at Bradford University School of Management. The course aims to help students whose first language is not English, to prepare for their postgraduate programme at the School of Management.
Course content
Facilities
You will have access throughout the six weeks to all the University of Bradford and School of Management facilities, including refectories, libraries, the students' union, the computer network, the medical centre, the sports centre and swimming pool.
Accommodation
Entry requirements
You must have a score of at least 6.0 in the International English Language Testing System (IELTS) or equivalent in order to start the course. During the course, you must attend at least 80 per cent of the classes. When you have successfully completed the course, you will automatically satisfy the English language requirements for MSc or MBA study at the School of Management.
The cost
The course fee for 2012 is £1,560 for the six-week course (accommodation separate). On application, you must send a £550, non-returnable deposit to secure your place.
