Customised Programmes - bespoke solutions for today's dynamic environment

Executive Education customised programmes

We create management development programmes, customised to the needs of individual client organizations, in the private, public and voluntary sectors. We can meet any objective - from fast-tracking high flyers, improving the performance of the top team, focusing on specific issues facing the organization, to developing a holistic approach to integrated management development.

Our Approach

We listen to your needs and develop appropriate solutions based on years of experience. Frequently we will suggest something you did not expect and many of our clients have been inspired by our innovative approach to solving the problems and issues they face.

Typically, programme development follows our tried and tested Eight Stage Approach:

1 Initial needs analysis

We will meet with you to discuss the challenges you face, the organizational culture and management development to date.

2 Programme design and development

This can take quite some time as we endeavour to really understand your organization. Frequently we will talk to a number of key sponsors and managers in order to really understand your organization's management development needs. . Once you are confident we understand your requirements, we will develop and deliver a solution in partnership with yourselves.

3 Formal proposal

We believe in giving clients real detail. Our proposals are crafted to ensure that they show a clear understanding of both needs and solutions.

Typically our proposals will provide solid details about the programme we are recommending right down to individual daily course outlines and the bios of our recommended tutors.

We also make recommendations as to whether the programme should be accredited, resulting in a formal qualification.

Finally, everything is costed in a simple and transparent manner including daily rates, catering, overnight accommodation and programme development. We don't believe in last minute financial surprises!

4 Commissioning

Clients will normally have some additional suggestions to make and we will fine tune accordingly. Once the detail is agreed, we work towards programme development within an agreed time frame.

This is really where the work starts. Our tutors are normally allocated mentors within the commissioning organization. Programmes are developed as a partnership with our clients. And the detail is not forgotten in terms of organization. Each client is assigned an experienced programme administrator, whose role it is to ensure that everything runs smoothly from commissioning to programme review.

5 Programme delivery

We deliver programmes at our Executive Education centre, Heaton Mount, or at other locations according to the needs of clients. We run our programmes in the typical Bradford style - a dynamic, fast-moving combination of learning interventions.

6 Embedding the knowledge

Working on customised programmes, our overriding aim is to ensure that clients' needs are met, not only at individual course time but for months or years to come back in the organization. From mentor training sessions to on-going action plans to regular reviews, our philosophy of embedding knowledge is practically and dynamically applied.

7 Programme Evaluation

Every course is evaluated by delegates. We share the evaluations directly with our clients.

8 Review

We continuously review our programmes, internally and with our clients. In this way we can fine tune according to the latest client needs and monitor the successful application of the programme content.
