Colin Neville: Hello, my name's Colin Neville and my title is Effective Learning Officer at the School of Management. And my job here is to help students get good results, the best results possible. So when they arrive at the School I'm here to help and support them throughout their academic career. And I would do this in essentially three main ways.
The first way is to help students one to one. So I would run writing clinics for students. They can come along by appointment or just stop me around the School and ask me a question. That's one to one support for students.
The second way I can help them is weekly workshops on effective learning techniques.
The third way I can help students I by distributing booklets that I've written on effective learning techniques and we have seventeen titles so far that we can give you, including topics like, essay writing, report writing, referencing and so on.
So, I'm here to help you succeed and if you decide to join us here at the School come and talk to me and I'll be pleased to help and support you throughout your studies at the School.
