Hi, my name is Lorraine Lucas and I'm the Postgraduate Alumni Manager at the School of Management. We offer a range of events geared towards supporting our alumni and their future careers. These range from events with prestigious guest speakers, which are also good for networking, to opportunities for continuing professional development.
We keep in touch with alumni via regular newsletters to them and they also receive copies of the School of Management magazine, "Management Matters".
The exciting news at the moment is that we are just about to install a new alumni database which will give us far more capacity for keeping in touch on a regular basis through emails and it will also be interactive, allowing alumni to keep us abreast of their new careers, their new addresses and things like that.
As a student at the School of Management you will automatically become and associate member of the alumni and therefore have great opportunities to mix and meet with alumni from all walks of life, industries and levels within organisations. So we strongly recommend that you take advantage of these opportunities.
