The theme looked ahead and explored new developments in learning, teaching and assessment. The opening plenary from Lawrie Phipps of JISC considered different predictions about the future of University education based on recent research and projects.
The programme included sessions on ecoversity, computer-aided assessment, e-portfolios, improving student writing, working with student groups, managing student behaviour, improving induction and supporting student transitions, involving users in resource development, Web 2.0 and mobile learning technologies, using plagiarism software, e-learning, student employability, and student support.
