What We Do
- Day to day administration of the Computer Centre job tracking database
(RMS Servicedesk); logging of jobs from various sources e.g. telephone, web,
electronic mail.
- Day to day operation of the University switchboard.
- Dealing with ICT and telephony related calls and enquiries to ICT Servicedesk;
forwarding jobs to the appropriate individual within LSS and escalating where
necessary.
- Day to day administration of LSS databases, including telephony support
application suite (Directory Manager, Extension Manager), Departmental data
and voice connections, voicemail, Vodafone Corporate mobile connections.
- Liaising with external voice and data cabling contractors, and maintenance
company engineers.
- Processing requests for work and materials for other University Departments.
