The Alan Williams Students' Union Archive

This small collection offers a view of the University of Bradford's early years from a student perspective, complementing the University Archive.

Alan Williams was General Secretary of the University of Bradford Students' Union 1967-1968 and President 1968-1969. He wrote a history of the Union, covering the period from 1966 to 1970. This archive contains a photocopy of the typescript of this history, copies of relevant documents from 1968 and 1969 and two volumes of the student magazine "Javelin" 1966-1969.
