British Government Publications are kept in a separate collection on floor 2 of the J B Priestley Building. Smaller collections are also at the Management and Health Studies Libraries. Apart from government publications held at the Health Studies Library, most are NOT listed in the Library Catalogue.
As a bibliographical guide to government publishing, the Library subscribes to United Kingdom Official Publications (UKOP). UKOP is a web service which provides quick and easy access to information about TSO/HMSO and Departmental publications from 1980 to date.
The Library currently receives all House of Commons Parliamentary publications (on microfiche, except for heavily used titles which are also purchased in paper copy) and most TSO/HMSO Non Parliamentary publications. Departmental publications are obtained as required.
