The following resources are available:
The ITU-R Recommendations are the international technical standards developed by the Radiocommunication Sector (formerly CCIR) of the International Telecommunications Union (ITU).
They are the result of studies on the use of the radio-frequency spectrum in terrestrial and space radiocommunication including the use of satellite orbits; the characteristics and performance of radio systems; the operation of radio stations; and the radiocommunication aspects of distress and safety matters.
The CD-ROMs contain the full text (in pdf format) of all recommendations currently in force.
The ITU-T Recommendations are the international standards developed by the Telecommunication Standardisation Sector (formerly CCITT) of the International Telecommunications Union (ITU).
They are the result of studies carried out on technical, operating and tariff questions with the aim of ensuring world-wide interconnectivity and interoperability, including radio systems in public telecommunication networks, and the level of performance required for these interconnections.
ITU-T Recommendations are published freely on the Internet and are available from ITU web site .
Please see the ITU Reccomendations helpsheet for a brief guide.
