How to download references from ZETOC (the British Library's Electronic Table of Contents) into EndNote

Please note : you will need to download the filter file from MIMAS

  1. Logon to ZETOC, do a search and mark any references that you wish to download.
  2. Choose the Download button at the top of the ZETOC page.
  3. In the Format box choose Short labels.
  4. In the Download box choose Just tagged records.
  5. Choose Send file.
  6. In the File Download box, choose Save.
  7. Save the file to a temporary directory and close it. The default name of the file is zetoc-records.txt.
  8. In EndNote choose Import.
  9. In Import Option choose Other Filters and then zetoc(MIMAS).
  10. Find your Import Data File that you downloaded from ZETOC.
  11. Choose Import.

Your references should now be included in your EndNote Library.
