How to download references from SAE (Society of Automotive Engineers) into EndNote

Please note: You will need to download the filter file for SAE to C:/ < Program Files < EndNote < Filters

1. Logon to SAE, do a search and click on the title of the reference you wish to download to EndNote.
2. Copy the whole reference and paste it into Notepad. Save the file as Text Only (*.txt.) for instance sae.txt.
3. Open EndNote and your chosen EndNote Library.
4. In EndNote choose File and then Import.
5. In the Import option, choose Other Filters and then sae.
6. Find your text file that you created in step 2.
7. Choose Import.

Your references should now be included in your EndNote Library.
