How to download references from PEDro (Physiotherapy Evidence Database) into EndNote

Please note: You will need to download the filter file for PEDro to C:/ < Program Files < EndNote < Filters

  1. Logon to PEDro, perform a search and select the records you wish to download to EndNote.
  2. Choose display selected records.
  3. Choose email results at the bottom of the page and email the references to yourself.
  4. When the email arrives, copy the text from the body of the email starting from AU - to the last line of text, DATABASE - , ending with the .edu.au.
  5. Paste the text into Notepad and save as a text file.
  6. Open your EndNote library.
  7. Click on File, then Import, and select the .txt file just created.
  8. Select PEDro as the Import Option and click on Import.

Your references should now be included in your EndNote Library.
