How to download references from Elsevier ScienceDirect into EndNote

  1. Logon to Elsevier ScienceDirect and do a search in Elsevier ScienceDirect and mark the reference(s). that you wish to transfer to EndNote.
  2. Above the first reference on the page, choose Export Citations.
  3. Choose Citations + Abstracts from the Export option.
  4. Choose the RIS format.
  5. Choose the export button.
  6. You will now be prompted for the EndNote Library that you wish to save references in. Choose a Library and the references will be downloaded.
