Library Catalogue and Renewals

The catalogue lists books and printed journals that the library keeps and also lists electronic resources available to members of the University. The catalogue provides convenient links to reading lists and to the library's eResources and Databases . The catalogue may also be used to renew loans and to place reservations.

Borrowing books is done through self-service workstations, in each of the two libraries. In the J.B. Priestley Library loans are returned through the sorter next to the Welcome Desk; at the Management Library returns are made to the library counter. For all self-service operations except returns you will need your student card and PIN.

Renewals

• Renewals via the Web Catalogue require the 9-digit number from your student card and your 4-digit library PIN.
• Telephone Renewals (an automated 24 hour telephone service) - please dial:
  • 3342 if you are on campus
  • 01274 233342 if you are off campus

Please note: if you have fines of £5.00 or over, you will not be able to renew your library books or borrow further without clearing the fine.
