Visa Information

It is your responsibility to make sure that you have a valid visa whilst you are in the UK, so please check now to see when your visa expires.

If your visa is going to expire before you complete your studies, you will need to apply for an extension to your student visa.

Remember, it is a serious offence to stay in the UK without a valid visa. You could be deported to your home country if your visa expires and you have not made an application to extend it. Don't let this happen to you.

Visa advice on campus

The University’s Visa and Immigration Advisers work in the Students’ Union Advice Centre.  They run regular information sessions to explain how to complete the student visa extension application form and which documents are required.

We advise that you make an appointment for one of these information sessions 2 to 3 months before you visa is due to expire, so that you can be well prepared.

Email: ubu-visa@bradford.ac.uk to enquire about up-and-coming sessions.
