The University of Bradford is pleased to welcome applications from Dubai for our undergraduate and postgraduate courses in the UK and Dubai.

The regional office provides assistance with all aspects of the application process.

Our Dubai team also regularly attends events and exhibitions across the Middle East, Central Asia and North Africa to meet prospective students and offer admission advice.

A number of University of Bradford programmes are delivered at the Knowledge Village in Dubai, including Nursing Studies and the Executive MBA.

Executive MBA in Dubai

Our Executive MBA in Dubai is one of the first and most highly regarded in the UAE, fast-tracking the careers of many of the region’s leading business professionals since it was established in 1996. 

Studied part-time over two years, the programme is aimed at ambitious managers who want to study while they work.

The BSc Nursing Studies (International) programme has been developed specifically for qualified international nurses working in healthcare practice.

The MSc Nursing Studies (International) is a theoretically focused programme developed specifically for the international student working towards an advanced practice role.

All applications for international foundation year and undergraduate courses can be submitted via our Regional Office in Dubai.

Submitting your Application

Please submit your application in one of the following ways:

Application checklist

To apply for a foundation or undergraduate course you will need to provide the following documents:

  • Completed application form (dated and signed)
  • Two references from academic tutors
  • Proof of English language qualification (IELTS or TOEFL)
  • Personal statement
  • Transcripts
  • A copy of your passport

Postgraduate courses

All applications for postgraduate courses can be submitted via our Regional Office in Dubai or online.

Application checklist

To apply for a postgraduate course, you will need to provide the following documents:

  • Completed application form (dated and signed)
  • Two references
  • Proof of English language qualification (IELTS or TOEFL)
  • Personal statement
  • Transcripts
  • A copy of your passport

Research

All research applications can be submitted via our regional office in Dubai. However, prior to submitting your documents it is advisable to discuss your proposed field of research in some detail with your prospective faculty.

Your department should ensure the university can provide the necessary supervision, equipment and research materials.

Writing a research proposal

In addition to your completed application form and a CV, you need to provide a research proposal.

This should be an outline of approximately 1,500-2,000 words setting out the precise nature of the problem you wish to investigate.

Your proposal should include a justification for your research, why the topic requires a closer look, and how it will make an original contribution to knowledge.

You should describe the groundwork you have already done, be able to show that you are familiar with the existing literature in the field and how your work will relate to that.

Finally, you should outline your proposed methodology and indicate what materials or data you will need for your research. You should also indicate how you intend to fund your studies.

Your proposal should be sent to the contact name given for research in the appropriate department.

Please note some faculties, including the School of Management, require an application processing fee. Please check with us for further details.
