Entry Requirements

The University of Bradford is pleased to welcome applications from Australia. When you apply, we will consider your educational qualifications, your English Language level and, in some cases, your relevant work experience. Entry requirements will vary according to the course you are applying for, but we hope that the following information will be useful as a guide to our entry requirements.

Bachelor's/Undergraduate Study

Bradford welcomes students who have successfully completed the following School Leaving Certificates with good grades on completion of Year 12:

  • Australian Capital Territory: T courses and UAI
  • New South Wales: Higher School Certificate (HSC)
  • Northern Territory: Northern Territory Certificate of Education (NTCE)
  • Queensland: Senior Certificate
  • South Australia: South Australian Certificate of Education (SACE)
  • Victoria: Victorian Certificate of Education (VCE)

Applicants who have completed a Diploma and Advanced Diploma course with a good grade average from a recognised Australian institution will be also be considered for entry.

Additionally, Bradford welcomes A Level and IB students from International Schools.

Foundation Year Programmes

Bradford provides a wide variety of course specific and English language Foundation Year Programmes, to enable you to enter an undergraduate degree of your choice. These programmes may be suitable for students who do not have the necessary academic or English qualifications or who have been out of education for a while.

Master's/Postgraduate Study

Bradford considers students who have completed an undergraduate degree from a recognised university in Australia and meet the criteria for the appropriate course.

MBA

Candidates for Bradford's renowned MBA course will need to demonstrate that they have had significant managerial experience. Our regulations specify a minimum of three years of post graduation work experience. However, the mere fact that you have worked for three years since your graduation does not necessarily mean you have the level of managerial experience we require. The average length of work experience successful applicants have is between five and six years. MBA applicants will also be required to take an on-line Bradford Admissions Test.

Research

Students with more advanced qualifications and a well-thought out research proposal can be considered for MPhil / PhD level study.
