International Representatives (Agents)

At the University of Bradford, we work with a trusted network of international education agents who can support you through the application process.

What do our agents do?

Our approved agents can offer guidance on choosing courses, preparing your application, and understanding visa requirements. While using an agent is optional, many students find it helpful to have local advice and support.

Only the agents listed on our country and region pages are officially recognised by the University of Bradford.

Our commercial relationship with agents

The University has signed agreements with each of our listed agents. Before signing agreements, several due diligence checks are conducted on the agency including obtaining references, checking they are registered as a commercial company and a financial check.  These agents are paid a commission for every student who successfully enrols with us through their support.

Admissions decisions are made by the University and are not influenced by this commercial arrangement. We are committed to ensuring that all students are treated fairly and transparently, regardless of whether or not they apply through an agent.

Choosing the right agent

If you are considering using an education agent, we recommend reading the student and parent guide to choosing an education agent, an important part of the UK Agent Quality Framework (AQF).

The guide provides you and your family with clear information and guidance on what you should look for when considering using an agent. It includes key questions to ask, signs of quality, and how to avoid poor practices. The guide also links to ‘The national code of ethical practice for UK education agents’ and the British Council’s UK database of certified counsellors.

Our commitment to quality

The University of Bradford is a proud signatory of the UK Agent Quality Framework, which promotes good practice in international recruitment.

We regularly monitor agent performance and provide training to ensure they offer accurate, ethical, and student-focused advice. We encourage all agents to be British Council trained.

Share your feedback

We welcome feedback — positive or negative — on your experience with our agents. Your input helps us improve agent services and protect future students.

All feedback and complaints are taken seriously and will be reviewed thoroughly by our international recruitment and compliance teams.
