Why do I have to enrol?
The enrolment procedure is the signed contract between you the student and the University. It also allows you to update your personal information. We will contact you about your module choices, results and events by letter, email and text.
After enrolment, you will receive your student card and have access to the library, the University's computers and other facilities and buildings.
How do I enrol?
Enrolment will take place as a three part process:
- Prior to arrival via the University's internet Enrolment Portal called eVision.
- Attendance at your School/Department Induction session.
- Attendance at the University Enrolment Event.
1. Pre-Enrolment via eVision
Log on to eVision, the University's student portal.
You will receive an email inviting you to log on to the University of Bradford Pre-Enrolment Portal. If you have not received this email please contact hub-admin@bradford.ac.uk.
The email will provide you with a link straight into the eVision portal.
Change your university password.
Once you have accessed the portal ensure that you change your university password.
Your username will be up to 8 characters, all lower case, and may include some numbers and you will create your own case sensitive password. Please make a note of these, as you will need them for your studies.
The combination of your username (which is provided in your confirmation email once you have changed your password) and password will give you access to the PCs on campus, and to use email, Blackboard (the virtual learning environment) etc.
Follow the online enrolment process step-by-step
Update your personal details and confirm the course that you wish to enrol onto. Check your payment and funding options and submit a digital photograph of yourself which will be printed on your University of Bradford Student card.

You need to bring the summary and checklist with you to the Enrolment Event.
2. School/Department induction
An induction is an series of relevant events introducing you to your chosen course/area of study, as well as to your tutors and fellow students. It is important that you attend your induction sessions.
