Framework for Flexible Learning in Health and Social Care

This is a School-wide academic structure for Continuing Professional Development which:

• Offers flexibility, choice and quality education that is responsive to individual and employer needs
• Facilities a 'pick and mix' approach to choosing modules if a clear award pathway is not required
• Shared teaching and research expertise from across the School is offered through increased disciplinary provision

You can choose modules by searching under care pathway themes or by your profession:

• Physiotherapy and Occupational Therapy
• Public Health and Well-Being
• Nursing
• Mental Health
• Education, teaching, training and mentorship
• Diversity, Leadership & Management
• Long Term Conditions
• Acute and Critical Care

Applicants can apply and register on to the framework to undertake a single module or a full award via the study pathways below:

Applicants will discuss modules and area of study with an academic advisor.

If you don't want to commit to a full award you can come and try a single module, build modules to gain a BSc (Hons), Postgraduate Certificate, Postgraduate Diploma or MSc. You can move across the pathways as your choices or career changes. The end award is defined by the pathway or the cluster of modules taken by individual students.
