Monthly Update - September 2010

Progress on site has been very noticeable this month, as the concrete frame extension is beginning to take shape. 

The first floor slab has been cast and t he steel frame link between the old and new building has been erected and the concrete floors poured. 

Necessary works to install drainage runs through the Peace Garden outside the main compound should be complete by mid October, and all areas will be fully reinstated. 

Demolition works to the basement level continue to form the new entrance level. High performance insulation has been sprayed to the underside of the existing Horton A roof, with the remaining sections soon to be removed for the installation of new steel beams to support the additional floor .

The month will see the continuation of the concrete frame, the second phase of the steel frame between Horton and Horton D and the internal partitioning within the existing Horton A structure.
