Committee Structure

The University Committee for Ethics in Research is a sub-Committee of the University Research and Knowledge Transfer Committee.

This main Ethics Committee is responsible for policy and strategy while the two Research Ethics Panels (REPs) will consider applications for research ethics approval. The 2 REPs are broadly subject focused:

1. SSIS, Management, Health and SLED
2. EDT, Informatics and Life Sciences

Applications for consideration by either of the REPs must be submitted to the Ethics Administrator, RKTS (Lynda Nuttall) at least 3 weeks before the next scheduled meeting to ensure it will be considered.
