GRANTfinder Database

Grantfinder is one of the UK's leading grants and policy databases and includes details in excess of 6,000 funding opportunities which is being continuously updated.  Their service provides access to a flexibly searchable database, email alerts, Newsflash service, deadlines listing and the Research Help Desk.

Administrators will be identified in each School (the list will appear here when finalised) and they will be responsible for setting up accounts for members of their School.   This will enable you to have on-hand 'experts' within your School as these administrators will be trained by GRANTfinder in using the database.

EURAXESS

This is a free searchable database of funding opportunities for international research involving the UK (e.g. travel grants, fellowships, researcher exchange programmes etc). This will be a useful resource for researchers wanting to come to the UK as well as UK researchers looking for funding opportunities worldwide.

Ub-research mailing list

Staff are reminded that they can join the ub-research mailing list which is used to keep the research community at the University  updated with upcoming seminars, funding opportunities and any other research-related information.

To join, send an email with no signature attached and a blank subject line to Majordomo@bradford.ac.uk   with the words "subscribe ub-research" in the body text.

UKRO (the UK Research Councils' Office in Brussels)

Last year, UKRO introduced a new information service to which Bradford now subscribes and is available to all University of Bradford researchers/members of staff . This service allows registered users to receive targeted information speficially tailored to their individual needs and interests. Options include informtion on funding opportunities, EU news items, latest project results, events and partner searches.

Registration is very simple and is available from the UKRO website at: http://ims.ukro.ac.uk/UKRO/login.aspx where you will be able to create your own personalised profile.
